The workshop focused on the following subjects: Understanding the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. Why is it prolonged?; Enforcing human rights: human security through international law and the ICC?; Could peacekeepers provide human security? Can they avoid the mistakes of the past?; Economic approaches to human security: boycott versus economic peace; Making international involvement legitimate, trusted and bottom-up.
